Default new to site, soon to be wrx owner

hey guys im about to purchase a 02 wrx soon if all things check out. one of the things that was deterring me from buying a wrx is that the trannies are weak. this car however has a 2005 sti tranny with sti rear end and sti calipers. i want to ask a couple of questions if i may. with the sti calipers is the matercylinder the same? i know with my s13 if i do the 300zx brake swap i need the 300zx master cylinder. how much stronger is the sti tranny? can it hold more than the 300 hp (guesstimate) the stock can hold? the car has 77k miles, tranny has 25k along with everything else sti on the car since it came from the same car. wondering if 13000 for the car is good? i've looked at a couple of wrx and cant figure out how to get to the spark plugs so i can perform a compression test, wat is the easiest way? wat other questions should i ask owner before i buy?

2002 subaru wrx midnight blue interior black
car has:
2005 sti 6 speed tranny
2005 sti axles
2005 sti rear end
2005 sti hubs
2005 sti front 4 piston brembo calipers
2005 sti rear 2 piston brembo calipers
2005 sti driveshaft
new exedy clutch with less than 1000 miles on it
3 inch cat back exhaust
17'enkie rims
carbon fiber side markers
sti carbon fiber spoiler
momo shift boot
3 guage pillar with a/f ration guage, boost guage and pyrometer guage
apexi turbo timer
boost controller
sc100 superchip
front strut bar
rear strut bar
turbo was just rebuilt less than 50 miles on it
car was lowered
mesh insert in lower grill
wrx decal in the rear shaved off
hks super sequential bov
neew o2 sensor
have recipts on most of the parts also

what it could use: set of tires and an alignment other wise the interior is mint and the exterior has a couple of minor dings from parking lots.

car is clean otherwise and has never been hit. i am the 2nd owner

thanx guys

please please get the car checked out by a mechanic you trust, run a compression test, and check everything to see if what the previous owner said was true....

I would be hesitant about buying a used super modded subaru. My gfs co-workers friend bought a used fully modded sti and it blew up days within him getting it.

doesnt seem too modded. a drive around the block would tell me if the brakes or tranny are alright. the compression test i can do myself just need to know how to get to the plugs. is there a way to do it without a lift? im not a car noob by any means just need to know if the price is fair for the condition and things that come with it.

find one that hasn't been modded - sounds like this one has been beaten on

edit - that's not to say a stock car can't be beaten on either
