Default passenger seat airbag sensor

i have an 06 sti and the passenger seat has a sensor in it so when theres weight on the seat the airbag turns on as most of you know but im trading my interior to my friend with an 04 wrx... he doesnt live close so i cant go check and he has no clue. do the 04 wrx's have the sensor in their seats also? and if not when i put these seast in my car is an airbag light going to stay on or not come on at all? thanks

no they don't
you may be able to get around it with a resistor .. try measuring the resistance across the sensor with a meter when you are sitting on it
