What guns will your tank work with?? Who refills them??
The tanks should work with any marker, since the threads are pretty much an industry standard. What kind of marker did you get?

For refills, I usually go to the field. Unlike CO2, compressed air is free with your admission. Sometimes I'll head out to the Badlands store in Surrey and pay the $3 for a full tank. In the winter, my marker is mainly used for critter control, coyotes and raccoons and whatnot.

Typical 3500psi, 48 cubic inch tanks will be consistant for about 400 or so shots. The larger 4500psi, 68 cubic inch tanks are good for double that, easily.

Usually any marker that can run on C02 tanks and has the right threads, you can run compressed air with. The really cheap markers from Zellers with the 12 grams, probably not unless you get a drop-forward installed or modify it so you can screw on 12/20oz C02 tanks.

I wanted to move to compressed air but I don't think it was worthwhile on my electro marker (Jt 6.0) for now. I used to run an old Piranha, if I find a good deal on an autococker (yeah I said it!) I'd move to compressed air.

good reply.

Go with compressed air though. It was the best mod done to my Spyder, and that's counting the e-trigger with full auto and 3 shot option.

Autocockers have gotten so cheap in the last few years. I paid less than $300 for mine 2 years ago, and it's expensive compared to now.

You'll only be at a disadvantage if none of the players on your side can work as a team. Unless you have that one player that uses an entire case of paint (2000+ paintballs) all for himself with the quick-loading pods, full-auto trigger with an electronic loader and then proceeds to hose the field down with fire (ie tourney players ).

So I need an autococker, with a big tank, to shoot a lot of rounds and hopefully get some face shots on my enemies.

Cool sounds like fun and get your mind out of the gutter I was talking paint ball here.

oh ya Hypa I have a Tipmann 98 custom pro with no mods yet but there is a ton for that gun.. I found it to be a cheap reliable gun that's upgradable.

The tippman is a geat marker. Accurate, strong, and able to take the rigors of battle. I like fighting along with the tippman guys, because they shoot so damn well. Problem is, they're a big marker, and close quarters combat becomes a lot more difficult. Give a little here, take a little there.....

Face shots?
Isn't that what happens while taking advantage of 30cm of new snow?

Agreed... I remember a Kingman Spyder with rocking trigger used to cost something like $800 when I was in high school. Of course I wasn't able to afford that at the time.

Ummm... As an individual, most people would be at a disadvantage with a pump gun! Including myself... ahhh... the memories of getting pwn'd because they ran out of semi-auto's to rent.
