The CRX SI was the quickest FWD 4cyl. in the world when it first came out. Yep, definently nothing special. Insert foot to mouth.

We are, but it's sailing right over your young head. We are commenting on the absurdity of your comments that the CRX (and later Si) were nothing special when they came out -- a comment that is wrong, wrong, wrong.

It was a time you cannot apparently even fathom, where 70-series tires were "low profile" (the Yokohama A001R being the king) and 90hp was a lot for a fwd car.

What are YOU comparing the CRX to?

what about the Dodge Omni GLH/GLH-S and all of those other turbo Chrysler FWD cars they had in the 80s?
Pretty sure those would be faster when the first gen CRX Si came out...

1) cheap
2) light
3) with dual wishbone rear suspension
4) light
5) light
6) and did I mention light?

the RSX would be? what would be the new integra then?
