My office is closed today, but I'm still going in (does that make me an April Fool?). Nothing like a quiet, empty office to get the constructive juices flowing. I've got a laundry list of things to get done today, too.

Ben, I noticed the "sold" under your vehicle info. Did you get a reasonably fair value on it? And is the buyer on NASIOC (or do they have any intention of joining NASIOC)?

Congratulations nonetheless!

^ Yeah I sold it for $10,000. Not the best price for it, but not the worst either. The buyer is from Abby, so I'm sure the Webber brothers will be seeing another bugeye in Abby soon And we will be seeing a new member in the coming weeks as well.

Congratulations again, hope to see you in another Subaru soon. Guess you won't be making the meets for the next little while, with the carpooling and all?

^ Yeah, not for a while. I'm actually enjoying the carpooling, I get to nap during the commute, and there's bucket seats and climate control unlike the transit.

It's still early, but I am eyeing a white 2008~2011 2.5i or a 2012+ 2.0i depending on how much I want to spend on gas :P

^ yeah in my dreams, GR & GV STIs cost too much $$$ to buy + drive + maintain + insure.
My commuter budget is about 1/3 the price of those fire breathing sexy beasts

Maintain. It's not a BMW haha.

I didn't spend anymore than I used to on my DC5,,, other than the Rear diff fluid etc, peanuts! If I don't drive a few days the major maintenance is paid for LOL

There's a bit of a difference in maintenance for a daily driver.
Even just the difference in oil change intervals on turbo'd and N/A will net me a few hundred $ a year
https://www.subaru.com/my-subaru/mai...edule2009.html

Not to mention there's a lot less mods for the N/A market.
So less money spent because there's less to buy

Sure, I lose the gravel spitting ability
but after buying a house, I'd be happy to be driving a soap box with a Subaru emblem attached to the front

Not bored, but I keep coming across the three letter code "RSB" in my files. Is that a sign that I need to upgrade my rear sway bar?

EDIT: 500th post
