Default Anyone know where to buy Rota Subzero's NOW!

Anyone know a vendor or wheel shop that has the Rota- Subzero in stock. I am looking for 17"x7.5 100x5 48mm offset in Silver.
I am tired of "There on the boat" "tied up by Customs" " will be here in a couple weeks" Does anybody want to sell them now?
Thanks, Jerry C. Tinjer@jps.net

Default sure do!

I just ordered a set about 2 hours ago from Serious Auto. I got the exact same wheel you want for $500 plus $60 UPS ground to my place of employment. Good deal. I asked the Lady when they would ship, and she said either tomorrow (Wed) or the next day. We'll see, since we all know vendors make promises out the a$$, but it's a good deal and these aren't going on the car til spring.

Good luck,

Nah you probably shouldn't mention my name...with my luck it will confuse them and my shipment will get lost just like evey other gosh darn thing I buy...

They're pretty sweet wheels, I was thinking about the P1 knockoffs but decided the Subs looks good, esp. silver on a silver car.

What kinda tires are you getting for them?

Jerry, I think that is the same place the Gary Sheehan has recommended for those wheels. (He races a WRX in USTCC). I have a set of them in 17x7.5 silver and am really pleased with the look of them. I'm just rounding up some cash for some tires. I want Bridgestone SO3 PP but...

Let me know what you guys do for tires...

Jim

BTW... here's a few pics of them on a WRX...

$500 for a set of four? That's pretty cheap for such a lightweight wheel. Are they strong?

Anyone know if the "Slipstream" or "Circuit 8" fit the WRX lugs pattern in 16"s???

Gunmetal or all black is my flavor.

Gunmetal IS BLACK for the Rota's.... do a search, and you'll be shocked like I was. A lot of people ordered them and were a bit upset that the "gunmetal" was just one shade lighter than black. Some people like that look, but if you ordered gunmetal thinking you'll get a color like the Superleggras, you'll be disappointed.

Go call Rota direct. I did. Their number in Hayward Ca. is 510 786 1726. They said the subzeros just arrived and is ready to ship to their delears. I live in the bay area right now and I can get the wheels from were the silver wrx picture was taken from, Auto Innovations in Milpitas. The owner owns a rex himself

You want a kick-a$$ deal on ROTAs?

I think you would do well to visit here.

Search around, and you'll find the following:
Quote:
Rota Slipstream wheel GB 11.8lbs each! extended for the Holiday season

ALL 15" wheels $411.76 Shipped in the Lower 48 US states.
All 16" wheels $485.00 Shipped
ALL 17" Wheels $500.00 Shipped
Yep, that's $500 for 17s on your doorstep.

And they've got them in stock.

Enjoy

Not only does the owner have a Rex, those pictures are of HIS car (the silver sedan)...hehe. Kinda strange that he hasn't been plugged, even though that's his car.

I bought mine there today, and he got me a decent deal on tires installed on them too. Look in the vendor forum for Slomves, right now his ad for the Rotas are on the first page in that forum.

I work in Milpitas, so it was very, very local for me For me it was worth the extra $40 from Slomves/Auto Innovations over Serious Auto because it's like 2 miles from work, I don't have to drive to Santa Cruz, or wait to get them shipped, AND the guy frequents the forums.

Someone who is a regular here can't be that bad, and often comes with many good recommendations for service from several members.

Default Serious Auto

I ordered them from Serious Auto on the Net.. Under "comments" I stated that if you cant ship immed. then cancel this order. I recieved a phone call at my office the next day, but I wasn't in. I tried calling them about 5:30 pm but no answer. Called them again this morning and got an answering machine. Left message to call me about when they would ship. No calls today. called about 5:15 tonight and left another message.
Has anybody done business with them ?? Is this a home business or do they have a storefront?
Any feedback would be appreciated, Thanks, Jerry C.

Serious auto is definetly a store, I've been to them a few times since my friend has a Miata and apparentlythey are well known in the Miata circle. I'm surprised their not answering since their usually good people to deal with. Their relatively near me, being from the SF bay area.

Default Serious Auto.

I finally talked to Dale at Serious Auto. He called me twice today. My wheels arrived at his shop this afternoon, and will ship immed. What a nice guy !! Very sharp, and very professional. They have a good buy on these wheels, at $500 for the set, and they do have them in stock NOW.
Thanks to everyone who responded to my post!!
