Default FS: Houston - 06 STi Struts w/ Espelir GT springs

***PRICE DROPPED TO $275 + SHIPPING***

This sale is for a complete set of 06 STi struts paired up with a set of Espelir GT springs.

I bought the springs about 2 1/2 weeks ago thinking that they would satisfy me. Unfortunately they didn't. They were immediately replaced with a set of Tein Flex coilovers which put a on my face.

The combo has just finally settled in. The struts just broke 10k miles before the stock springs were replaced with the Espelirs; the Espelirs have about 3,2xx miles total - 2kmiles(previous owner) + 1,2xx miles from me. They were removed at 11,2xx miles.

1 of the bolts from the tophat from the drivers front broke while I was installing the springs a couple of weeks ago. But i've never had a problem with the strut moving around after the other 2 bolts were bolted down. Will definately work out a better deal if I have a serious buyer.

My asking price is $330 OBO picked up. Would prefer to keep it local as shipping would rape both parties.

PICS (struts are labeled for buyer):

Thank you and have a nice day.

questions coments:

Does anybody know if you can use these rear struts on an 04 sti. I might need a set of struts if I trade my car in in the next few months and my stock struts clunk (not on car now)

I am pretty sure the fronts will only fit 05 06 and 07 stis with the new style front hubs

Otherwise I think the espilers are great springs and that is definately a good price

Fronts can be done but it will take slotting and a spacer to deal w/knuckle difference.

pretty sure these won't work on a wrx. 04 sti struts work on wrxs, but i know 05's do not. so that would lead me to believe that 06 struts wont work on any year non-sti impreza.

thats why they are kinda hard to sell.

This will only fit 05+ sti...
at the least someone buy his springs.. as they'd work with any year WRX sedan (wagon will saggy ass) with an upgraded strut that can handle the stiffness OR any year sti

The rears should fit your car. The STi fronts are the only struts that changed w/respect to fitting WRX's in 05.

04: changed rear tophat design for all Imprezas
05: STi's get new front hub design and this gets them a new front strut design, rears are the same as 04 design (though the guts may be different, they will bolt up).
06: no changes to mounting
07: no changes to mounting

The reason -sets- of 05+ STi struts are hard to sell is b/c most people don't want to buy a set of 05+ STi struts for their WRX and 'throw away' the front struts, as well... most sellers of these struts don't want to split the set. STi owners obviously already have the same struts so they don't really need to buy more of them. Thus the market for them is kind of small.
