Default Wtt: My Greddy Evo 2 Exhaust For Hush

As it says, I'm looking for a hush in trade. Want to go with something a little less noticeable. My be open to other subtle exhausts, must be 3in. though.

I'll let you know tomorrow. EVO2 should be installed in the evening, and my buddy has a borla hush. I will run them side to side and let you know which is quieter...

The Hush isnt exactly quiet, especially with a catless DP. However, it does look somewhat like the stock exhaust

Cool, thanks. I love the sound of the EVO2 and it is by no means loud or intrusive, I just figured the hush was a little quieter. Plus sometimes if I take my STI to work I leave so early and don't want to wake the neighbors. I think they already hate me and my wife cause were so young. Also it does'nt have the kinda ricey coffee can tip like the EVO2 that cops always seem to notice.

I have Borla Hush and you may have the same problem as my wife hates when my car is parked outside with engine on in cold morning.

I have a Hush and I might be interested if the Evo2 is not significantly louder. Would love some input from Gfunk about how different they sound. I am down in the central Mass area on weekends, maybe we could meet up to compare.

Just finished up and the results are interesting. They actually sound very similar, though the Hush seems a tiny bit louder at idle. This may be due to the fact that the hush is being run through a catless Helix DP, and the EVO2 through a Helix Catted DP. At higher RPM they sound very similar, but the EVO2 seems a little quieter with the windows up at 4k+ RPMS...

Again, we are running somewhat different setups(one catted/one 16g w/o cats). These are just my initial impressions, but the EVO2 is a hell of a lot quieter than my Bosal Twin-Tip was...
