Nice wheels, but the offset for the 17x9 seems kind of high, even for a Suby, but I guess a 10mm spacer will cure that. The offset seems more like a IS300 offset.

I might join in if I could get 17x9, 5x100, what is the reason hardly any wheels are made like this????
Sorry, been looking like mad for some nice wide wheels and it seems not much available, at least at a reasonable price ![]() Rick |

Sorry to be so grumpy, just frustrated as I thought it would not be that hard to find a good deal on some wheels with so many 5x100 modified Subarus all over the planet
![]() Maybe most cannot fit wide wheels, that I understand but I figured enough STI's have been built before the change in specs there would be at least some good choices that were not outrageously expensive. I am not even totally sure I can fit 9's yet but pretty positive when I know of 17x8's running 275/40/17's will work in a 35mm offsest but I do not like that much tire on that narrow a wheel nor the load on the bearings(I may not have much choice in the last issue if I want to run 9's but this would only be my autcross set, tough duty but obviously very little actual use in the end. I would run 8.5's for daily and track days. Sincerely, Rick |

These would be for autocross. I have no problem rolling fenders and adjusting ride height, I'm on double height adjustable coilovers.

If it's for Auto-X I would recommend running the 17x9.0 +49, with a 5mm spacer. The +35, while increasing your track will put a bit more strain on your bearings. Also the 17x9.0 +49 is an FF face, which is better suited to clear the Brembos. I believe if you are running stoptechs, the 17x9.0 +49 will clear w/o a spacer. Thanks, Gary Gruppe-S |
