Default Miles count...

Well so far Ive got 605 racked up on the new block. Planning to go out to matanuska (spelling) glacier in a couple days and also planning to go to fairbanks monday, maybe even up to the artic circle. How many ya got ridestreet? Probally dont have the mod bug biting at ya yet. ^_^

*edit* speaking of which, is there something I should do with my car to prepare it for fairbanks?

I was in Fairbanks this winter when it was damn cold (-35) and I would strongly recommend a block heater for any car up there. But if you are not going to be somewhere that has a place to plug in then I guess its academic.

It should be okay by monday without anything, but if you're worried about it then toss a block heater in this weekend. They only cost about $20 or so. We should do a little get together while you're here. Maybe go to dinner with a group or something.

well my inlaws are here, so the only thing to really do is drive... up to 705 now. Not that Im impatient, just dont have anything better to do. As long as it was broken in by outlaw i would have been happy! It runs so much smoother now. Seems like every day I drive it, it feels better and better. Might just be me. Cant wait to really try it out!

I've had my truck since Dec '05 and I've only put 12,000 miles on it. Unfortunately at 13k miles it will be sitting at 100k. And shows every bit of it. I don't think I could make another Portage Glacier run without fear of it breaking. I need to spend a cool 1k (that I don't have), on it to get her back in shape.
