Default modded injector question

hey guys i see a lot of people on this board that r modding there injectors and not sending them out to get them flowtested....when i talk to my tuner he says he must have a flowsheet to tune them....is there something im missing here....why r so many people not getting them flowed is it not neccesary....dont flame me i was just wondering how do people actually know if they r flowing 800cc r 820cc...just thought i would ask a dumb question

It really doesn't matter. I had my modded stockers flow tested, and I got 800-812-816-820 So it really wasn't worth it. You just tune the car to run on the leanest injector. I also put the 820 and the 816 in the hotter cylinders.

why wouldnt they all flow the same? how do you get them to all flow the same?

You can't. It's a function of the injectors mechanical construction.

Really a 20cc difference in flow at 800cc's is only a few percent. It's all about percentage.

If you had a 20cc difference at 400cc's it would be much more significant.

so what ur saying is unless u have a setup....that basicly comes close to peaking them out there really is no need in flowing them
