Outback Sport WTB Steelies

My girlfriend just picked up a 1997 Impreza Outback Sport, and the previous owner put aftermarket alloys on it. Unfortunately, these rims are causing rubbing issues in the rear fenders, so she is looking for a set of wheels/tires for cheap to replace the alloys. Steelies, stock Impreza , OBS or Legacy wheels, or whatever else fits will all be considered. She would prefer 15" rims to help prevent any clearance issues. Only criteria are that the rims be in decent shape, tires with plenty of tread, they hold air, and fit properly. I don't want her worrying about her tires, lol. I recently picked up a set of steelies with re92's for $50, so there has to be another good deal out there somewhere.

Synopsis: want four good, cheap wheels/tires for a 1997 Impreza OBS.

In exchange, she would like to sell the wheels/tires that are currently on the car. They are American Racing "Avenger" AR-157 rims, size 15x7J, 5x100 bolt pattern, ET34, wrapped in 205/60R15 Federal SuperSteel 657's. The rims are in decent shape, with no obvious curb rash. However they are dirty with salt corrosion, but would probably clean up pretty well. The center caps are peeling/deaminating, but otherwise okay (and could be replaced). The tires look as if they are brand new, and have plenty of tread left. There is some evidence of the tires scrubbing on the fender, but it is barely noticeable.

No real price is set, so please make an offer. Ideally, she would trade these wheels for your wheels and cash. All reasonable offers will be entertained. We are located in Worcester, but are certainly willing to travel for the right deal. Make an offer, thanks.

Bump this up.

Somebody has got to have a set of steelies somewhere. Maybe even just two 15 inchers to compliment the two spare ones I have...

These 15 inch Legacy alloy rims would make a perfect fit for your girlfriend's 97 Impreza Outback Sport.

Express, are those rims yours? Do Forester rims have the correct offset for an Impreza (as that's the issue with the current rims)?

Jonathan, I saw those and showed them to her, but she needs 4 good wheels and really doesn't want to have to deal with the one being iffy.

I have a set of 15" Subaru alloys with almost brand new all-seasons. $300.

Came off a 98 OBS.

They aren't mine. Just a random posting on CL.

I thought basically all Subaru's across the line has the same offset. Don't quote me. Doesn't FISH run those Forester steelies on his 90s Impreza rally car?
