I am pretty sure you will need to order the Hydra for an sti as well as get an sti wiring harness to run the avcs. Hopefully Phil or someone with more knowledge can give a for sure answer, but I think that is right.

All hydra's are designed to control AVCS, including the WRX one. This is about 25***37; of the reason why I bought a Hydra. You will not need anything from an STI to control the AVCS other than the heads and some wiring. The main difference with the STI hydra is related to the Drive-by-wire, which you don't have to worry about. You actually have a benefit over the STI hydra owners because you can still use your cruise control. WRX Hydra is the answer. Last edited by keaniegenie; 03-12-2007 at 06:15 PM. |

Yes that is correct you always purchase the Element Hydra for your chassis model and not the engine. We can configure the software to run just about any engine combination your heart desires.
