Default WRX 2015 Limited leather seats: no lumbar!

Anyone else bothered by the lack of a lumbar support? My FXT 2014 had a button for lumbar -- but not the Limited WRX 15? Feels like i'm being sucked in by the seat from the lower back down.

The stock seats don't qualify as bucket seats, do they?

Probably going to have to get an aftermarket pump bladder.

The seats kill my back. So much so I use a little pillow for support. I wish there was an aftermarket seat made for comfort.

Welcome to every USDM WRX/STI seat since 2002. My '05 RS had no lumbar support, my '07 WRX Limited had no lumbar support and my '11 STI doesn't have any either.

Just remembered a lot of reviews raved about the new [comfortable] seats. They're comfortable enough for short rides but anything over an hour and I'm hurting.

Looks like a lumbar pump bladder mod install will be easy.

Has anyone successfully added some type of lumbar support mod to their leather seats? My lower back is screaming. I'd rather not use a lumbar cushion, but may have to until I can figure out a nicer solution.

You guys all old or just really bad backs? (for the record, I'm probably well above the average age here...) In any case, I guess it is all in the individual. My '15 limited seats are extremely comfortable, and I have taken multi-hour road trips without stopping. no issues, no complaints.

I agree with rkramer, I like the seats in my 2015 STI Limited a lot. My previous 2007 WRX would kill my lower back after a 2-3 hour drive, but I have zero problem in the new car.

I agree with rKramer and Bloodshot, the seat for me are very comfortable, I did a road trip from FL to NY recently and I had zero back pain.

I'll admit that I have minor lower back problems, and an adjustable lumbar support would be nice. I'm very happy with the seats otherwise.
