Default Question about Osram Silverstar Bulbs

Okay, I have an 02 WRX and I really wanted to upgrade to the Osram Silverstars but my question is do i have to buy the H4 bulbs? I looked in the owners manual and know the bulbs are 9007's but Osram doesn't use HB3 or 9007 in their fitment guides..So would an H4 be the correct bulb for my app? Thanks

Not to sway or take away from your post objective but the GE Nighthawks kick ass and are readily available in 9007 on the cheap.

No problem, I was looking at those too but there were a lot of people that highly recommend the Osrams, but they are hard to find over here...I just want a nice bright bulb with no gimmicky "blue" or "xenon look" coating on them.

Unfortunately, the Osram Silverstars are not available in our size (9007 or the european equivilent). However, as was mentioned, the GE's and Phillips are a good alternative. .......I've never tried the Phillips bulbs personally, but I currently have a set of the NightHawks and they made a noticeable improvement (of course it's relative since you're still limited to the design of the housing and halogen technology). ......I would like to give the harness a try one of these days.
