Default KatieO's Rumble Wagon, Nasioc's Top Scoob 032

I purchased my Subaru WRX Wagon, which would eventually be known as the “Rumble Wagon”, November 23rd 2007.
By chance, I stopped at the local Subaru dealer during my long search for a WRX Wagon and in their used lot was a 2004 with only 28k miles, nice wheels and modest tint job.
Despite the fact that it was bright red, I was instantly in love and took him home the next day.

What started as the fulfillment of a simple desire for a great car has turned into an absolute obsession and love affair.

In 2008 I began with upgrading my exhaust: Fully catless, Perrin up pipe, Helix 3” down pipe to a Blitz Nur-Spec. A Cobb AccessPort v2 , sway bars/endlinks and “stage 2” brakes were installed shortly after. My car stayed like that for a couple years and did a great job as a fun daily.
In January of 2011, I decided to take the car in a whole new direction and do a complete overhaul.
All work performed on my car has been done in my garage, with the exception of the alignment.

My goal with this car has always been to make it the epitome of a clean and well put together street car. I’ve always kept performance in mind with everything I’ve done despite the “stance” and so it’s also set up for spirited driving and performs beautifully on the track. AutoCross is my new addiction.
I know I’ll always have more I want to do, but I truly love everything about this wagon.

A big thanks to IAG Performance for all their support this season.

My Subaru is the first ever to receive this suspension set up which is made by a local company. This system allows me to adjust about 1.5” ride height front and rear via an air compressor located in the spare tire compartment and a few low-key switches. Although you can’t quite call it “bagged”, it’s more or less a coilover system with a small adjustable right height via compressor – perfect for clearing speed bumps while retaining maximum ride quality that a coilover offers.

I’m thrilled and honored to have made it to the third round, especially because I really admire both of the other cars and think they’re both awesome, as well as their drivers.

Thank you for all the support and votes so far. I really appreciate it.

A big shout to IAG Performance for their support and sponsorship this show season and my first race season.

Just finished installing IAG’s billet tgvs and fuel rails. Top notch stuff. Also cleaned up my engine bay.
A couple updated pics:

I finally got to test out the StopTechs yesterday at autox. Unfortunately it dumped the whole day, that's Washington for ya! At least we're not afraid of a little rain.

The brakes did great though. Autox set up is really coming together and I really love that I'm able to drive the car so hard now.

Rollers on the way home.

Thanks for the support guys. The car has come a long way from when I got it 5.5 years ago. Still love it just as much as I always have. And it will just keep evolving.

Since its Thursday and throwbacks are appropriate....

Thank you. Going up against two badass cars that I really like in the final was intense. Look forward to seeing your car this summer.

I appreciate all the support and I'm incredibly stoked to join the ranks off all the amazing cars that have been named Top Scoob before.
