Default Install-day!

My friend was installing Tein basics and whiteline front and rear swaybars today and I snuck in a couple shots during the install!

"You're an eagle, flap your wings!"

I didn't get any pictures of the car after it was lowered, Ryan if you've got any post them up here!

ha ha i like how i didnt do any work but i am flappin my wings in the photos..............

great stuff man. No i dont have any finished photos of her car yet but ill get some, and we put on the sti scoop today.

here is a review of the tein basic coils with the white lines 22m front and back:

So far i have noticed it doesnt ride as stiff as the sti (its on a low spring rate) but her car wants to turn. the sway bars made a huge difference and so did the coils. as for her ride height, its a bit lower then a stock sti inbetween .25in and .5in

and clay thanks for the photos

The tein basics? they took about 3 hours to install. granted we were slow. but right now they are on a soft spring rate setting and the car rides really well. its smooth over bumps and i dont think we've had a problem yet with them being too rough. we do need/want to adjust them to be a little stiffer. as for the handling i cant really speak for it because we put on the rear sway bar the night before and the front sway the same day so i dont know how much of an improvement the coil overs were over stock due to doing everything the same day. i can tell you that the car feels amazing through turns. there is no body roll, you just get forced back into the seat when going through turns.

If you know flagstaff/sedona area, my girl and i took the car down the switch backs there and the only thing limiting how hard we pushed the car were the stock tires. Other than that i am in love with this set up.
