now when i connected the pressure line,i put the fitting(http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RU...5&autoview=sku) right on the rack, without the use of the blue adapter.
this fit perfect, but will it leak without it?

On my rack, it wasn't a flare fitting at all, but an O-ring fitting. The adapter goes from the o-ring fitting to the AN flare fitting. The threads might match, but the sealing surfaces definitely won't.

The Earl s Performance 9894DBHERL fitting,it connects to the russell hose adapter piece, but it is too big for the fitting on the rack itself.this fitting just slides right inside of it and is too small. im stumped here.

My P&L power steering line has been leaking for a while now and I've noticed the braided line is swelling. Some plastic goo from under the braiding is seeping out. Weird!
