Default ati video card on Nforce4 mobo?

does nvidia make it so their video cards run better on their chipsets? I want to put a X1950pro on a Biostar Nforce4 Ultra mobo.

it will work fine with no appreciable change in performance.
to favor their own card would possibly put them in non-compliance with PCI-E specifications.
