Update 04/08/07: Photos of newer items are posted on hijacked-thread #8. I'm sorry to say that the dibs idea is falling apart from so many initial interest but so little follow up. Please don't take this the wrong way but I have been having trouble keeping tabs and holding items for far too long without payment let alone a reply to my PMs. From now on, whoever gets things moving and or send payment will get the item. I will try my very best to manage and remember existing deals but between work, fixing my car, and life in general, I am frayed. My number is 413.530.0050 if anyone wants to get in touch with me urgently

I am listing parts that come to mind at the moment and may have a few stragglers so you are most welcome to stop by my place and rummage through the living room for parts, which looks like a car blew up in it by the way.

So here goes:

1. Titek high-flow catted DP with less than 10k mi. on it = $300 Sold
2. Borla Hush catback with less than 10k mi. on it = $450 Sold
3. Blue Samco WRX y-pipe and throttle body hose = $75 Sold
4. 4 17" Legacy GT rims with two tires that are new but mismatched; good for spares I guess. Both are Bridgestone Potenzas but one is directional; I can go read the actual models if anyone is interested. The other two tires are worn. Everything for $350
5. 4 17" BBS RK rims that have seen better days with some nice <10k mi. Falken Zeix 512 225/45/17 = $500 (One of the rims needs a little help from my accident) If someone just wants the tires, I can part them out for $250 or trade them for 17" winter tires in comparable condition.
6. A bowl of chili = $yum...
7. SPT short ram intake = $125 Sold
8. Stoptech front slotted rotors with <8k mi. on them = $100 Sold
9. EBC Green stuff brake pads with <8k mi. on them = $75 Sold
10. Will have some TEIN S-Techs (8k mi. on them) with stock struts (57k mi. on them) for sale in a couple of weeks as well. Looking to get rid of them cheap. Sale Pending - gc8wrx02
11. Autometer Sport-Comp EGT gauge and probe (<5k mi.) = $75 (The probe is not pictured but is good and will be included in the sale)
12. Autometer Sport-Comp Boost gauge (<5k mi.) = $35 Sold
13. UTEC with map selector switch = $450 Sold
14. Stock WRX injectors = $125
15. Partially blacked-out headlights with new lenses on them = $150 Sold
16. Kartboy Shortshifter = $75 Sold
17. PIAA 9007 Extreme White Plus Bulbs 4150K. Had them on for about three months = $40

New Items:

18. V7 JDM STI hood scoop splitter = $75
19. WRX fog lights = $50 Sold
20. MBP WRX hood scoop and splitter = $60
21. Stock WRX fuel pump = buy me dinner
22. Stromung divorced 3" shorty DP = offers anyone? Sold
23. Stock STI catless UP (I think it has less than 5k mi. on it) = $90 Sold
24. 02/03 WRX and perhaps RS fob (I have too many now) = $30 shipped/$25 picked-up
25. Stock 02/03 (perhaps 04+) rear-view mirror = $20
26. Borla 3" cat-back to DP adapter = $25

Note: Please don't ask for photos of the newly listed items as I don't have them available yet. They are either still on the car or I am waiting to get all the parts together before I bust out my photo gear again. I will be working to remove and organize everything by Sunday and will hopefully have photos up then. Thanks for being patient.

There are a couple of other things that I might have missed-out and will list them when convenient. All parts fit an 02 WRX and compatibility should be based on just that. The pricing is made on what I think they are worth so feel free to come see the parts in person and/or offer what you have on your mind if need be. However, if you are going to buy me a beer for say... the SPT intake, you better buy me one that will knock me out cold so I don't take an ugly stick at you for severe lowballing. If you think I am asking too much, feel free to let me know. If you think I am asking too little and point it out to me, I will fall out of my chair.

Cheers.

Gerald.

are the BBS RE's actually destroyed (like a rim needs replacing?), or just scuffed up?

if the wheel will balance, and isnt bent, (and the tires hold air!), i'll take em!

03/31/07: I am hijacking this post to upload some recent photos. The original details of this post will follow at the bottom.

Anyways, I managed to get some work done on my car today and had the opportunity to take some photos of the newly-listed items.

First off are the brake pads. The first two images show the Green Stuff pads off the car in comparison to the new Red Stuffs that I put in. As you can see, the used Green Stuffs have quite a bit of life left. The third image is a generic image of all the pads that came off my car today.

Front brake pads:

Rear brake pads:

All of them together:

Followed by the StopTech front slotted rotors:

Driver's side:

Passenger's side:

Next up is the Stromung shorty DP (I really like this piece and hate to let it go):

Followed by the STI UP:

Oh carp. I made a mistake. They are not REs; they are RKs - the ones that come as an OEM factory upgrade for the WRX that year

The rims are not bent or damaged in any way. All of them have curb marks from being driven around over 100k mi. but the one of them has scratches on its face from my accident.

Sorry for the mix up and causing ruckus.

Cheers.

Gerald.

03/31/07: Another hijack,

Last but not least are a few photos of the fog lights. They are non-specific as I didn't take them; a buddy of mine was messing around with my camera and a few photos had the fog lights in them. I will take fog-light specific photos tomorrow if anyone is interested.

I was doing my 60k mi. maintenance and installing a new catless DP for those who are curios...

Someone take the fog lights before I put the covers on please

Jasper,

Sorry about the lack of specs. I assumed most people knew about the wheel. Anyways, here is what I dug up:

Rim size: 17x7
Lug pattern: 5x100
Offset: +48
Weight: 16.5 lb

As for pics, I only have a random shot of the damaged rim. I will try and inflate the tire later today to make sure it is absolutely fine. Most of the white marks on the rim are superficial I think. I didn't have the chance to inspect it closely but will try to do so later.

Do you have size/offset/weight of the LGT rims?

I would be very interested if these will fix a 1998 obs.

April photo-hijack of new items for sale:

225/45/17 Falken Zeix tires (rims are not included) with less than 10k on them:

Original message for post #8:

I have to physically check on the LGT wheels for you as I am not familiar with them. I'll post the information when I take a look at them later.

Cheers.

Gerald.

I just found that they are a 55mm offset, and i'm pretty sure 7'' wide. I haven't found weight yet.
I'll keep looking, but if you could find the weight and confirm the width too that would be great.

I can confirm that the LGT wheels are +55 offset and are 17x7 in size. I'm not sure about the weight as well.

As for the BBS RK wheel, I inflated it earlier and it is still holding air. Upon further inspection, the rim don't look too bad. A lot of superficial scratches is all.

Cheers.

Gerald.

dibs on the LGT rims. Pending weight.

As soon as i have all the information i will make you an offer.

If all else fails through on rim on a scale; can at least gestimate a weight w/the tire.

I'll go boost my neighbors' bathroom scale and put the wheel on it later this evening. I'll report back with either the weight of the wheel or a bruised spleen.

Also, each wheel/tire is approximately 1 lb lighter than a stock wheel/tire.

Hey there,

No worries on the persistence - no harm done.

However, it looks like the shifter may have been accounted for.

Cheers.

No worries - I'll keep you in mind. And, if I am not mistaken, I do recall meeting you at an apparently disbanded A&W for that intake sale a few weeks/months ago
