Have you guys seen or tested the Ebay (Magnus type) manifolds yet? They are only selling for about $300 now.

Please refrain from the default Ebay=crap, get what you pay for garbage. Only post if you've had experience with said item. $250 is too hard to ignore for a simple (piping) part.

Buy it and let us know. My guess from prior experience with eBay headers is that it won't even come close to fitting. I could be wrong though.

thats actually from a 2005 impreza 2.5i, but the legacy is the same SOHC motor so its probably the same manifold.

The impreza one does not have TGV's. The legacy one does. If you look that one is from the legacy.

I ordered up one of the TGV-less manifolds from scoobydoo for the STi. I have detailed logs with airflow with the stock manifold. It will be interesting to see what the plenum/runner improvement will do for us.

In case anyone wants to know the part number is 14001AB760 and is ~$275 with tax.

cant attest to the missing hose clamps but the s/c looking thing would be a dry sump oil system

Well Im working on one right now and I can tell you for 100% sure it bolts right up, however the fuel rails I have been building from -6 rail extrusion hits the avcs solenoids.
I'm going to have to CNC something new I guess.

If anyone is looking for an '05+ 2.5i intake manifold or an EJ20G/H intake manifold, I'm your man.

It was a pain, but it's on and running. at the same boost pressure it's moving 30-40 more grams/sec. A significant inprovement in an otherwise stock lingblock 04 STi.

Very very cool! How does that roughly equate to HP?

it's approximatly 40hp give or take using an FP green. FWIW, the old setup had TGV deletes too.
The bigger the setup, the more it should be worth.

I would really like to put egt probes in each cyl to see what improvements are to be had cyl/cyl
