I'm thinking they're M10-1.0 bolt size... not 100% sure though, since the only parts store within walking distance didn't carry that size.
You can use a 1/8NPT tap to re-thread them, I've done it several times, and have not had any leak problems. I just use a dab of RTV on the NPT threads as they are going in.

Sick 1.8t what year and model is this 2.5i manifold from? Will top feed id1000's drop right in this? I plan on that manifold with a 2004 wrx dbc.

Does anybody have any measurements from the throttle body to the firewall with a 2.5i intake manifold?

Im doing the same thing- using garret 750hp rated cores. Im taking the lightning heat exchanger and water pump off my truck to see how well it does.

Im going to use the 2006 2.5i legacy intake so i can retain tgvs and not mess with spacers. I mocked it up in thr GFs bugeye and using that intake, it measures about 7-8 inches total from the firewall to the throttle body. Its closer to 8 ish if you lose the ac.

Ill be putting the same setup in my car (sti swap gc) with a twinscroll bw 8375. Current setup is a gigantic 4" thick a2a intercooler, im hoping to reduce pipe length to gain a little spool .

* I noticed a huge difference (negative) when I went to that fmic with normally routed plumbing on a stock location 30r and sti tmic. I ended up doing a reverse intake which was a good compramise in spool.

Ill report back with gains sometime

Isaac

GC and GD don't have the same room for a core in the top mount location. You will lose some height. Don't recall if the bulkhead gave me issues...
