Did you launch in 2nd gear?

Sounded very much like you were ebrake boosting at the line and then let it rip in 2nd gear because it sounded like an auto trans the way it was slipping.

i was launching on first gear
well i have a different way of launching my car its kinda hard to explain
i basicly slip then drop it but the same time make it smooth as possible and no burn clutch the re070 tires sucks for drag race on the track, but on the street its good

re070 you cant lower the tire pressure to get traction becuase that tire breaks axle due to mad wheel hop

Its hard to hear over the civic's tire screatching but if you listen closely its there. Remember, 1st goes by VERY quickly.

What is the rev limit set at on this car? Sounds like he's revving the balls out of it in 1st gear.

Awesome tune + driving

what tires are you going to use for the strip?
you know a dog box with some smaller rim/tires could get you in the 10's on a vf39

Congrats man. I saw your 12.2 post on IWSTI and just knew you'd be the first into the 11s...but not that far into it.

There was a tailwind. That doesn't make me take anything away from this run, though, because I was there too and the wind certainly wasn't helping my times
