well sir you are more then welcome to buy me some "BIGGER TIRES" see here inlies the problem it FLEX'S like crazy and with "BIGGER TIRES" it wont be able to do what it wa built to do..

with that said after i wear down those expensive procomps or sell/trade them i will go up to 36's

When you start scrubbing fenders its time to break out the sawzall.

Avid offroader, just giving ya hell.

Heres the latest project in my garage, its about to get 37's and 8 inch longer wheelbase, oh and lowered 4 inches lol.

(And for scooby content when the motor goes its getting a turbo flat four)

Here yall go, this was built by Nick at Shaving Seconds in Las Cruces,NM. First iteration:

Wider light hoop:

Finished and doing a pose, still gotta dismantle it again, primer it and put on some truck bed liner:

Braid TA 15x6.5s should be here from Spain soon, and some 205/70R15 or 215/70R15 Geolanders will be going on with them.

Nope, Nick at Shaving Seconds in Las Cruces, NM did it for me, I just provided the inspiration and ideas. Would've made it myself if I was back home in MN, since my dad has about everything I would've needed. Unfortunately, my apartment complex would've had a ****-fit if I had tried doing this in the parking lot, and the wife would've had one if I tried doing any of that type of work inside.

Oh well, I think it was worth the work, it's sturdy as hell, and I can't wait for one of these local retards to whip in front of me from a side street, they will be screwed, or for another raccoon to commit suicide by Scooby.

Gregroot, that is an EPIC front end! I just drove all through NM, AZ, NV, and CA so I know how much fun you must be having and the kind of confidence you need to duck off-road into the catctus patches, lol. I'd love to get something like that done, but alas I just have the skid plate made so far and soon to remove the front sides of the bumper (you know, the part in front of the wheels and fog lights that Subaru decided to LOWER instead of raising up above the lip... Go figure, lol).

Mine? Yeah, it's pretty nasty, it'll look a lot more subdued though with some truck bed liner on it though.

Thanks Joe!! Haven't had much fun yet though, at least not post-brush guard, but I will soon enough, after this painting (and truck bed liner) is done with. Definitely know the area you are talking about, if you saw pics of the bumper before, you would see I knew it intimately. Drilled it and zip-tied it many, many times.

No more of that now, just have to install my remaining splash guard I just picked up from Lowes; some really flexible & tough feeling .08" plastic sheet. What are you going to do with the holes you'll have with the sides of the bumper skin gone? Or are you just chopping some of the bottom off?

I have the stock STi springs still, put on the Subtle Solutions 1" lift, got the actual tires today as the others were just temporary.

looks like rub city.....taken it over any speed bumps or dirt trails yet? I love the look, but it just looks like a tiny bit front/back and you're taking out the fenders. Seems like that wheel/tire set up would look more natural on a forester/outback or even just a regular WRX, why spend the money on a STI but then pop that set up on there? That said, props for doing something different.

I just gotta ask this. Whereas the muddy subie at. All of you show your rides ready for off road but very few her are actually dirty. There's to many clean ones here. Hell I've had my bone stock 2.5i muddier than some. Wanna see some mud on these things. Lol just busting balls. U all got some nice rides.
