Its those kinda folks who get everything shut down for the rest of us.

Take pride in your offroad sports and help support them.. not drag them down. Land use is hard enough to defend without people on private or govt. owned land with no permission to be there.

No but moab is a sanctioned/supported OHV area.

See the difference.

I am not saying only go out during events.. but stick to areas your allowed to go.

Don't go finding public dirt roads and haul ass down them at 80-100 mph and wonder why people give you crap.

For example I go out 5-15 times a year.

I go to a OHV park... pay my fees and have a blast.

I rarely go during events because I don't like how crowded the trails get.

They have jeep/mud/rock trails... enduro and atv stuff for miles.

If you want to start a thread about the best OHV parks in the country and where people can go to actually play around, you have my full support.

So your saying I can't go out in the middle of the desert where everyone else goes that's free and isn't regulated or anything. That I have to go to some park that I have to pay a fee for and then deal with the other retards that are there? Oh and what If I don't have one near me. Which I dont, but I do have a couple dirt roads that's used for farming. So no one live on them and no people. I can't take a couple cars and go have a bit of fun every now and again. If that's how you feel that's fine but I kno how I handle things and you all need to realize not everyone in this world is a retard. People do know how to do stuff safely. Honestly I don't know how school zones and that stuff got brought up. The other thread didn't even reference that type of areas.

Wow this thread has taken a turn for the worse.

I don't give a crap about your internet argument, and I'm sick of reading your walls of text about who's right.

Take that **** to pm and stop clogging the thread with that petty garbage.

Now someone please post some lifted/rally preped/ muddy goodness!!

Once I get my tire replaced, I'll take a fresh pic of my truck bed liner coated bumper on the car.
Primed:

Liner about finished:

Close-up, since it looked more like wrinkle black powder coat than bed liner:

^^That's looking pretty beastly! You should tie in some sort of under body protection off that somehow now.

Looks good! I used that bedliner spray paint on my roof rack croissant bars, I made a rear bumper guard, did my front and rear strut bars as well. Very durable.

hey buddy, dont put words in my mouth!

i really regret mentioning high speed gravel runs. i meant it as a generalization-- not that i do that constantly or encourage that.

for your information, the places I reference are OHV areas. thats "Off-Highway-Vehicle" parks. the Redbird State Riding Area is an official place, with a .gov address and a Use At Own Risk sign out front.

the fact of the matter is-- i often break my car even doing 2 mph bc i have so little ground clearance. for all the people assuming im some baja prerunner ---- thanks for the assumption but no im a big furgina

It'd be nice to know where i could get an eight ball too. It's illegal activity and a private forum isn't going to allow it.
friendo, our country is enormous but largely extra rural, by land use. there's nobody else coming down your own private country road, lol

That one is cool. But still makes me sad. Someone on USMB did an amazing job with a dual range swap into that one. Custom crossmember, adapter plate, custom made driveline, etc.
It was very well done swap, then it was cut up for that. It should have started as a stock vehicle, not as a very well modified one.

Whelp, the tire place installed the rubber on my Braid's, but they wouldn't install the wheels on the car, due to the Geolanders having an "S" rating. Oh well, I installed them myself. Pics of the fun:
A comparison of the wheels:

Everything installed, and I forgot to mention that I installed my Rigid Industries 10" combo LED light:

Lit up:

Should have a chance to get some sort of action pics tomorrow hopefully....

Well now.. you'd have to drive it to have a fair say, the tranny was going out the engine was gettin weak and fast, the bushings were shot and i got stuck in places my gl would romp in..

i did love the setup but i was fed up and didnt want to repair it, so i lifted it...put an STi in it and now its unstoppable im sorry you dont like what was done but it is what it is many amongst yourself state that very opinion often and its getting played out.

with that said i sold the whole kit to another usmb member for another suby project.

I got it off ebay from some shop called AZOffroadPerformance, but the company that makes it is called Rigid Industries. Link in their name.
Oh, and these are the D series I was talking about. They do have some smaller bars than my 10", they have a 6" single row like mine, and then they have smaller ones that are 3" IIRC.
