Tried bolting up my recently obtained winter setup with my summer suspension- amazingly, it clears and doesn't rub.
15x7 Braid Winrace Acropolis with 205/70/15 Bridgestone Duelers.

Now, do I do stock struts/KYB's and Kings for wintes? I haven't looked into gravel suspension since DMS 50s were the hot ticket, lol. Right now, the car looks like an optical illusion; tires this big shouldn't be this far into the fenders

Hah! Looks....interesting. Though with it raised, it will look great.

Do you actually run snow/ice tires or just an all season? (looking at your area)

I wouldn't spend much on a winter setup. I'd get some gr-2s, stock springs, and call it a day. I was very surprised how stiff the gr-2s are on my 06 wrx wagon. Still lots of fun to drive on.

Quite the same problem here, still waiting for lift springs. Decided to rock 15's all year round due to awful road quality here in Russia. Driving has never been this fun before

Racing my GL. I didn't do to bad! Stomped on a 2.5rs

Here I am parked with my friend, and our pile of tools and supplies. Fortunately neither of us broke anything. But we did spend 3.5 hours after the event getting a friend's wrx running again....

His car has a 4.44 fxt tranny swap. It's a monster.

All-seasons/muds. Winter is an excuse to hoon around - doesn't really snow down here but my folks live up int he hills and I haul over the hill to Reno frequently. I have dedicated snows, but these looked fun and have a ton of siping in the blocks and a narrow footprint that should work well in snow.

King springs and custom valved inserts and you'll be set. It's a killer gravel/off road set up and actually works pretty darn good even when the roads do dry out.

If your interested drop me a line.

Can do the same inserts+king springs for you as well. Shipping to Russia is going to be pretty expensive though.

Yep yep. That would be a sick set up. I'm really liking the Braids you guys are all sporting. I never thought I'd want anything but the O.Z. Rally set ups, but in comparison they are right there!

How long does it take to 'custom valve' the stock struts?

BTW Greg, car is looking great now that you got the front metal all blacked out! =D

Thanks, diggin it too, just needs a little more work for stiffening. Oh, there a few choices for rally rims; Braids, Team Dynamics Pro Rally 1s, Enkei makes a rally wheel too, just don't know if it fits over the WRX front brakes like the other 2 do in 15" form.

As for the revalves, Odi at Feal Suspension usually has a turnaround time of a couple days plus shipping time. So maybe 2 weeks max in most cases, and depending on your distance from Cali, but don't quote me on it. Not meaning to steal your thunder Anthony, if I did.

I can get you a set, if your interested shoot me a PM. I believe BRAID USA had just gotten a shipment of various different one's in not too long ago.

Nope no thunder stolen haha! That is all correct! You can also do a core exchange if you want to have zero down time. You get your core deposit back when you send in your old core's. in.

Just realized you have 2011 WRX. There's no core exchange available for that actually, and just to clarify, the WRX's are getting custom valved front inserts, and a complete replacement rear shock, where as the older STi's would have the stock dampers rebuilt/revalved, and the newer chassis STi's get a rebuilt/revalved front strut and complete rear replacement rear shock.

I'f I remember, I think Odi initially tried revalving the stock WRX struts and came to the conclusion there was no nice way to do it, thus the insert/replacement shock.

Any chance you could send me a quote for 5 Braid Safari's in 5 x 100?

My 2000 RS is running on 04 Sti Struts and I plan to send them into Feal one day to be revalved.

I have thought about using the 04 STI King Springs that are available but I am not sure if that would be too high and cause some other driveline issues.

PM's sent fellas!

I'm running 04 STi struts+kings on my wagon. Killer set up for RallyX I think you'd be good ride height wise, something similar to my wagon.

Drop me a line when you're ready to do that. I can help you get that sorted as well.

That looks like a perfect set up for the Sierra Nevada's Scooby4life! I really like the light bar as well

I'm gonna throw in a pic just since I haven't added anything other than compliments and questions to this thread so far. Amateur photographer (super cool guy) came by and just started snapping pics at the last Texas Rallysport event at the Texas World Speedway front lawn. Super slippery stuff, but oh so fun!
