Did you use the WRX or OBS tophats?

Thanks. I'm assuming that if I use the complete strut/spring/tophat assembly from any 02 - 07 they would fit my 98 OBS. Is that correct?

Ok so if I use my existing rear tophats I'm tinking the springs would have to be 02 - 03. What other tophat options are out there?

Use 02-03 wrx struts and springs and your stock rear GC tophats. You can use the 04-07 WRX suspension, but you have to slot the rear strut tower mounting holes to accommodate the larger tophat bolt pattern.

Initially I used 90-91 Legacy tophats, but I kept breaking those and ended up using Forester XT tophats and re-drilled the shock towers to accommodate the different stud spacing.
