Probably easier then putting on forester struts I would think.
A bit pricey though $230 +15 S&H.

Does it drive different?
I mean did you loose anything in the handling department?

It seems getting a tall slightly stiffer spring may not be fees able.

Honestly, I havent noticed much difference in the way it handles. I know some people put them on sti springs for autoX, so they must handle well.

The whole writeup on this project is over on DirtyImpreza. The original condition of the front frame was hosed now with the Jackson touch you know the rest.

You need to host them on a site such as flikr or photobucket.

Where are some good places to get rally parts? It's not for a Scoob (I still can't find the right one), but I wanted to rally out my DD (LOL). I know I'll have to fab alotta stuff, but it's for a 1993 Toyota Camry Wagon. I've yet to find one pic of a rallied out Camry while searching the interwebz.

CARL! WTF? I was on a road trip with the wife and just spotted this. What was that all about and where? Will you not be making Ojibwe then?

HA ha, I had my tires mounted at Discount Tire, the lugnuts that were sent to me were great but for some reason the thread pattern on the lock nut was wrong, they gave me a free splined lockers in chrome, they look ok. Contact Paul at Team Illuminata, he is awesome and did me right. The wheels are 15x7 Braid Safaris, bulletproof. I think the offset is 48. Tires are 225/60/15 and IMO they fill the wheel wells nicely and I have stock suspension. Tell Paul Brian in Dallas sent you, the wheels arent very expensive, I got the whole set for about 900 shipped. Got the Kumho Ecstas at TR for 300 shipped (this will be my winter setup). I have a rally innovations light bar like yours sitting in my garage! I bought from a guy with an STI, apparently the brackets are different for a WRX, not sure how to deal with this. Any ideas?

^thanks for the info. awesome winter setup!

...your car will look dope with the lightbar on. not sure about the difference between sti and wrx brackets, but I had to make brackets for mine to work on the 07, especially with my front skidplate. they do make drop brackets that are needed for certain models, maybe these are what you need. contact Eiji at rally innovations. He is their marketing director and I'm sure he can hook you up with whatever you need.

Yeah, I talked to him, he wants $75 for the brackets. Trying to get the dimensions so I can fab some myself.

OK, so with scrolling through most of this thread from the get-go, I've surmised that I want to lift my wagon back up for the winter time. I run subie 4pots up front, and have 00/01 RS 6 spokes for winter tires. My old Blizzaks are finally done (after 5 winters and countless rallyX events), so I figure I'll need tires and struts at the very least. Currently running worn out 65K mile AGXs. I'm thinking new AGXs and reuse my ProKits when the winter is gone again, but going with the Forester combo and taller tires for this winter. I daily drive a work van, so this is purely for fun's sake. I like driving in snow, and on ProKits with 205/55/16 Blizzaks I can get around so long as the front of the car doesnt snow-shoe too bad with my skid plate.

Any reccomendations? Wheels are staying, and I want 2 complete strut assy's when done so I can just swap them out and re-align when the season's change back.

I wonder what the limits are of my Cusco sways and Kartboy endlinks? Somewhere I still have my stock springs too, but what fun would that be? Car is an 02 wrx wagon with rolled rear wheel wells to clear the 225/50/16 MX's.

Thanks

Erik

Enjoyed! I bet the video doesn't do the hill justice. Probably way steeper than it looks in real life. I once climbed a gnarly, steep, rutted hill that I really thought was unclimable for me, and was so fired up when I got to the top. Surprised me even more since I was running 22mm sways on stiff, and street tires on 17's. Sure do love these cars.
