What axles are you running? Mine are slightly binding under the 1'' rally spacers. I don't want to have to get my transmission seals replaced again. Any advice on which axles to use? Forester axles compatible?

yeah ive known guys in trucks to get fines on the two track dirt roads, but to be honest, the state park police and troopers are simply much less friendly to someone with PA plates than they are to a local...

1in lift should not cause any axle bind, I was nearly 6in total lift and would only get binding at full articulation.

If you really wanted to you could use GD chassis Impreza axles, but you would need the control arms and lateral links to accommodate the extra length which would really just put you back in the same position.

What makes you think the axles are binding?

When my car is stock, acceleration is smooth. When I put Forester suspension on, I could not accelerate without the car shaking. It occurred all the time minus 4th and 5th because the car was level when accelerating. It was REALLY bad (I mean, REALLY bad) when I was heavy on the gas, or accelerated at all going uphill. This also tore up my transmission seals and caused it to leak.

I then went back to stock, and later decided that the 1'' spacer should be fine. Now I can faintly feel it shaking through 1st and 2nd, or accelerating uphill. Even with just the 1'' lift, it gets pretty rough when I really accelerate from a stop.

Do I just have bad axles? This is the second set of axles I've tried and both produced the same result.

The only other thing I can think of is subframe spacers + Forester suspension. The problem with that is if I will have to lengthen the steering, shifter, and whatever else. That and finding the spacers.

I'm determined to make this work, and if anyone can help that would be amazing. I've researched for hours and hours only to find that there is no answer. I've even offered up some $$ via paypal if someone could give a detailed report of what they did, but that yielded not even a response.
