Default Header void warranty?

Hey y'all,

I'm strongly considering an APS header (and 3" TBE) install soon. My car is new and I purchased an extended warranty.

Has anyone experienced warranty claims being denied for a header?

Thanks!

Boost power, you risk warranty denials, pretty plain and simple. Goodluck.

Yup. If you do this install, you'd better be prepared to be able to pay out-of-pocket for any engine or transmission damage that might happen down the road. If you can't afford to replace and engine or tranny, then don't do the install. If you do go ahead and install the header, don't be surprised or upset if powertrain warranty work is denied.
