Default Synthetic > Regular

Is it ok to go from synthetic back to regular engine oil? I've heard both reasons so does anyone have a more solid argument? I don't mind to keep using synthetic but just would like to know. Thanks.

I would say no. Your eng gets use to the syn oil and then all of a sudden it gets oil that is not as slippery. Why don't you give it a try and see if anything happens.

According to Castrol, you can switch back to regular oil if you want to. Here's a link to their FAQ.
