Smile Got my 2nd subie, it's a turd bucket but I'm excited

My father in-law owns a small mom and pop mechanic shop and they had a guy come in with a 1995 Legacy wagon with a water pump problem. My in law qouted 600 bucks to fix it parts and labor and the guy said no the car wasn't even worth it Naturally, I say really whats it worth, he says a couple hundered bucks or so i say give you 200 and dum ta da dum I have a car!!! I ask my in-law why it was so expensive to fix he says parts were only 80 bucks or so and the rest is labor ( as long as I help do the work my labor there is free) so for 280 I have a car I can tear up yes!!! Wait, it's already torn up... it's actually a piece of crap but besides that it runs....I just wanted to buy it to throw some tires on there and goof off in it somewhere out in the boonies where I can act stupid with it.
