its not that hard man. above the fuse block under the dash there is a black box with a wire harness connected to it. Cut the Dark Green wire w/ black stripe.

can you take a picture of what you cut and the other possible wires to cut and post them? That would help a lot.

Sounds to me like you are cutting one of the wires that plugs in to the same plastic peice as the fuse block. My friend did that on his and his left blinker wouldn't work. Its got wires for blinkers, and air bag. Make sure you are cutting wires on the black module above the fuse block.. If you need better access to the wires, the module is on a metal bracket, you can bend it down a little and bend it back up when you are done.

For all those who need help finding the correct green wire with a black stripe
I have pictures of the harness you need to cut to make the turbo timer work with factory remote entry system. But, I canít figure out how to put the pics on though.

Any way the correct wire is on the black box above the fuse box. It says Subaru keyless/ remote entry system on it.

Take it off by removing a 10 mm bolt holding it on.

Next with the side of the black box with no writing facing you, find the dark green wire with a black stripe on the right side of the harness. If you cut it the wrong dark green wire with a black stripe when you lock the car only the right side will flash.

Cut it, tape it, and test it!
Reassemble and your done.

I did this on my 04 wrx, If you need pics or can help me post them for all, pm me.

P.s. Accept your own liability when you do this, donít point the finger at me for trying to help others.

What are the sob stories of doing this? has anyone messed anything up, or does this green/black stripe wire soley make the keyless unit see the vehicles running state?
