Still truckin'

Default I'm going to puch my car in the face...JDM AVCS gurus help.

If my car had a nose it would be broken into many little pieces. I am throwing the p1306 code as others have. I had a couple other codes then went through and did some extra grounding on the shielded wire shield and the #1 pin on the ecu connector. for about 10 miles it appeared I had everything taken care of. The intermittent CEL returned. I believe it is based in the grounding. If you had this CEL and problem, how EXACTLY did you track it down and take car of it? I've had the swap for a year with NO AVCS. blows donkeys it does. Anyway, any help is appreciated.

Secondly, I need the downshift1 instructions for AVCS. Dylan no longer has them up, and I need to be able to retrace exactly what I did the first time. I know he's super busy, so if anyone else has them, I will love you forever, and that is a long time.
thanks!
Hunter

I got a P2093 once because the ground from the battery to the intake manifold (near the fuel line hookups) was a tad loose. I'd retighten both the grounds that sit on top of your intake manifold and maybe also make sure the battery terminal is clean.

You can log the OCV current. It should be <309mA when AVCS target is zero or something like that, but realistically should be zero. You might try finding the manuals for that exact car to see exactly what the determination is for your model.

Measure the voltage at the battery with it running. Could be more of an alternator issue.
