Default Those with header...any troubles with warranty?

Just wanted to know about this. I read somewhere that a guy's Borla header burnt his steering boot (I believe) and he had to pay to fix it, which is understandable. My question is, has anyone had a problem with the engine which wasn't related to the header and had Subaru blame the problem on the header. I want to get one but don't want the trouble with warranty crap.

Just keep your stock system around. I have mine hanging in the garage. Should anything ever happen that I feel they might give me a hassle about, I'll just change it over (takes about an hour to swap the whole system). I also may be doing this for emissions testing (here in Cali, they can fail you just on a visual).

But, the dealer has seen my system and only asked if it improved power. They even diagnosed my CE light after it first sent off (caused by the header). No problems so far, and the other dealer (two in my area) sells stuff like intakes, so...

So that header is pretty easy to install? What about that CEL? Does it stay on constantly now or what?

I have the MRT system, but yeah, the CE light dash bulb is in danger of burning out. If you just get a header, you might not get the code, but if you replace the system with a higher-flow unit, you're bound to get it on MY00 and MY01.
