I have an SPT catback on my car. The weld that connects the tip to the can is seperating. It isn't broken, nor did I do anything to pull it apart, but it's getting pretty bad. I hear a rattle coming from the exhaust and put some upward pressure on the tip to see where it was coming from. About 15 lbs of pressure was enough to seperate the tip enough to a. keep it from rattling, and b. show how poor the weld is... there really isn't much holding it on.
It's "genuine" SPT, not the unbranded bosal. To have this removed, re-welded, and refinished will get costly and time consuming. What are the chances of getting help from Subaru, SPT, or bosal? Please discuss. Tittywop coming with daylight...

Parts warranties are often 1 year/12k miles; there should have been something in the paperwork along with the exhaust that specifies the warranty period. If you had it professionally installed, there should be another warranty by the installer; 1 year/12k miles would be good for that, but again you'll have to check the paperwork.
