Default Rear ended, lights stay on

Yesturday I got rear ended from slow and go traffic. Nothing too big on damages. It looked like some one tried to stab my bumper with a steak knife. Also the area where the license plate goes to, one of the sides has a dent. Not too worried about replacing the bumper, if any one asked I'll just mention I was in the WRC and a moose was chasing me.

Anyway, my main concern are the tail lights and the corner lights on the head lights. They stay on even when the power is off. Could it be a short circuit somewhere near the bumper that's doing that? I didn't get hit anywhere else but the back.

Thanks for your replies and concern.
