That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Subaru did the research, and homologated the roof vane on every STi road car for use in the WRC...and other teams complain, so FIA changes the rules and bans the vane?

It's always the French But in this case, it may have been Mitsubishi just because they don't have a WRC car and are jealous

Interesting. I don't recall the Evo MR roof 'vane', (aka: Sonic the Hedgehog splitters) on the WRC car. They were probably withdrawn from the WRC then.

I'm sure there's lots of down and dirty tactics used by the competing teams. I wonder how the new hatch STi WRC will compare to the saloon car.

you know what the really dumb thing is? Subaru (and mitsu) are basically the only team to have this aero problem, since every other car is a hatchback. clear flow right to the rear wing.



as much as everyone hates the styling of the new impreza, it'll be good for the rally team
