Default Anyone know of performance shops in the Winston-Salem/Triad area?

Hey ya'll, I really need to find a good performance/engine tuner/builder shop in the Winston-Salem, NC area.

Does anybody know of one? Obviously I would prefer it to be a shop that specializes in subies, but really any kind of performance shop would be fine.

Thanks.

Do you know of any contact info for them? Maybe a phone # or website?

I googled them and couldn't find a thing.

You willing to drive as far south as Concord? 3sx down there is doing more Subaru work, they just tuned a STi to 452hp last week. One of their techs is on here somewhere as well.

Exotics Inc., near Kernersville. They can do just about any kind of paint/bodywork/powder-coating/fabrication. They recently built a 300whp Saturn Sky, but they'll work on just about anything.

What exactly are you trying to do? Dale has more Subaru specific experience than...well, everybody I think. 20+ years or something?

Well, basically I'm trying to take my '07 TR to 300+ whp.
Right now all I have is the SPT cat-back and intake.

For future mods, here's what I'm thinkin:
-STi VF39
-STi TMIC
-Cobb downpipe
-Cobb protune

With that setup, I'm hoping for 300 whp, and that's only if the stock bottom-end can support that much power, and the transmission too. I'm new to subies, so I really don't know much.

You can get pretty close with that mod-list. Just make sure you're not beating on the transmission. I just put down 298hp/329tq with an 06 wrx with a tbe/vf39/sti tmic. I'm using enginuity though. A little more tuning and I'll be over 300 for sure.
