Default help! turning signals don't work

when i try to use the turning signals nothing happens....i already checked the fuse and it's goood.. they blink when i unlock the car with my key fob and they also blink once when i click the hazards... what could it be?

sounds like the flasher unit has gone it works on your alarm as the control unit has its own relays for the indicators .

the strangest thing... it started working again the 2nd time i got in my car today...i went out to hang out with some buddies and it wasn't working... but after i parked it at home and went out a couple of hours later for work... my car magically fixed itself... i hope it does that with any other problem

Default turn signal relay

Hey, I've a similar problem in my 99 Forester. I think it's the relay but I can't find it! where is the *$$#& turn signal relay located ????

Yep, sounds like a flasher relay. I've had similar issues in my Saab.
