Default 11.2:1 (TWE) Compression N/A Shortblock (EJ251) + Engine Stand

For sale is an 11.2:1 compression N/A shortblock. I built this for my N/A project using TWE's 11.2:1 piston package (new piston rings, titanium wrist pins). I had an issue with cylinder #1 burning oil and ended up getting an STI engine swap since I didn't have time to deal with it. I have the assembled short block on an engine stand (I bought the stand from Autozone and it is in new condition). I'm not sure why it was burning oil but I'll be pulling the piston from that cylinder soon. I'm guessing that I didn't install the rings for that piston right.

The block is 2.5L, from a 2003 Impreza with 30k miles on it. It is bored out .5mm for the 100mm pistons and was honed. I built it with new crankshaft bearings, new oil pump, new water pump, new oil pan, and a new timing belt tensioner. They are all included. I put less than 5k miles on it.

Needless to say, I put plenty of money into this build.

I am however moving soon and would rather sell the shortblock than move it with me.

I also have an extra set of TWE titanium wrist pins if anyone is interested.

Pop the piston out. Dollar to your dime the oil ring is on upside down. It's an easy mistake to make.

Here are some quick and dirty pictures. I'm looking for $1000 for the shortblock and $100 for the engine stand but I need to sell the shortblock before I sell the engine stand.

I don't want to move this to my new apartment. $700 picked up takes the shortblock and engine stand.
