Default WTT: BE Trunk - winged for wingless

I picked up a new SYMS spoiler and found that the stock wing holes aren't going to be covered up by the new one. I'm looking for a white sedan trunk with no wing for a trade.

I might still put this thing on, but I'm exercising patience...for the moment.

Is it possible to put studs in the syms spoiler to fit into the stock spoiler holes?

Tomorrow I'll put up pictures in the other thread that show what I'm describing.

The SYMS part clamps down and uses tape, but it doesn't cover the holes from the stock spoiler, so two of them are still visible on each side when the new part is put in place.

It might be better, aesthetically speaking, and from the standpoint of someone who wants a trunk with the stock spoiler, to trade and not worry about them.

I can probably have my friend get a few chunks of the white vinyl material they use for wrapping vehicles and use it. I'd take a bit of a visual blemish to avoid bondo.

Good to know. I might just use some carriage bolts with painted heads to fill the holes or vinyl versus replacing an otherwise good hood.
