Default JDM Legacy TGV's the same as USDM STi?

I came across these the other day on AVO's site, and for the price you can't go wrong.

The question is, are these Manifold Risers aka TGV-less TGV's from a JDM Legacy GT the same exact fitment as a USDM Legacy or USDM STi?

Will they bolt right up, and utilize side-feed injectors?

For the price you can't go wrong... I think I'm gonna order a set anyhow...

No one?

If this is repost, sorry... I didn't see anything anywhere else... I'll keep searching.

They are a direct fitment to the USDM and JDM Legacy with the plstic intake manifold. I have a set on my car and they dropped right in. IIRC they will fit on an STi, you just need to redrill a couple holes on the manifold to line them up with the holes on the TGV's. So while it's not a perfect drop-in, it'll work quite well with minimal fuss.

Yes, I installed these in my STi a few months ago (I got mine from Renick but I assume they are the same). You will need to slot 4 holes on your Intake Manifold. The gaskets (make sure you get new gaskets) are slotted at those holes so you just need to make the Manifold match the gasket. I would also recommend porting your Intake manifold to match the TGV deletes. The TGV Deletes have about 1/4 inch larger diameter than the Intake Manifold Runners so you should try to smooth out that transition as much as you can.

Other than that they are a direct replacement and they utilize side-feed injectors (obviously you'll have to turn off all of the TGV codes or you'll get a CEL). They are great parts, especially for the money. You should change out your turbo inlet too (if you haven't already) while you have the manifold off.

Cool... I was told the holes "almost" match up for the bolts... I just wanted to know by how much.

Thanks for all the responses...

I'm Installing an 8cm FP Green, Samco Turbo Inlet, PE 850cc Injectors, etc etc etc... So I figured why pay someone to port TGV's and fill the rod holes, or do it completely myself... when for $199 I can have perfectly clean ones.

Thanks again...
