Default Bag Riders Air Ride

Iíd really like to get the ball rolling and start a review thread recounting my experience with Bag Riders. First off, let me start by saying that Bag Riders is composed of a great group of guys (and gals!) who are always down to pass on their knowledge or lend a helping hand to whoever asks. Their customer service is top notch and they offer nearly everything under the sun to build the air ride kit for whatever you please. Iíve had the pleasure of talking to almost everyone within the company and can safely say that combined, they have arguably the most extensive knowledge out there when it comes to air ride set-ups.

Products purchased:
- 08+ WRX Air Ride Kit with Touch Pad eLevel system
- Accuair EXO Mount system
- SMC water trap
- SMC check valve

My experience with Bag Riders is as follows: After seeing Kevin and Johnís bagged Subaruís at the Bag Riders BBQ a few summers ago, it was a no brainer to bag my WRX. Will (the owner) was more than happy to answer all of my questions while cooking burgers for the 100 something people that showed up.
Once ready to make the purchase, I called up John who helped me tremendously in choosing everything from air line size to management options.. even sending me a youtube link showing air up/down speeds of different hose sizes. Located in Vermont, these guys are no strangers to rough winters that pose potential issues to air ride set ups. John advised me to buy an upgraded check valve and water trap and I couldn't be happier! Not a single issue last winter because of it.

Even after my purchase and install, Iíve called these guys up multiple times to trouble shoot issues and talk about compatibility with potential upgrades. Every time theyíve given great advice.. even after hours when I was stuck in a parking lot with a bad relay. Seriously, look no further than Bag Riders if you are in the market for air ride suspension kits or parts!

Colby, thank you so much for the kind words man! I'm glad that everything has been working out for you as far as the kit goes for your WRX. I'm looking forward to hearing all about your trip and otherwise hanging out when you get back state-side! Hope all is well with you, and thanks again!

I started to deal with Bag Riders a few years ago. When I initially looked into air suspension, I had saw their name pop up and reached out to John. After some back and forth, I actually didn’t even end up buying stuff from him (whoops john lol). I pick up fittings and various stuff from him though, and John and I became buddies. I literally would talk to him about air ride and just other BS that had nothing to do with Bag Riders or air suspension almost on a weekly basis. I ended up selling my sti and parting it out, but my relationship with Bag Riders didn’t end there.

Fast forward a bit when I bought my BRZ, I immediately contacted John about trying to get something going for it. We talked back and forth about modifying the stock struts, but he let me know AirLift was working on a set of their own. I ended up waiting and I believe besides the tester of the kit I was the first person to even order the set for the BRZ. I ordered AirLift Struts and the AutoPilot V2 system, along with a crapload of fittings and misc stuff. I had eLevel on my STi but didn’t want to drill with the height sensors so I gave the V2 a try.

Ever since we started to bs I knew that I’d never go anywhere else for my air needs. I literally tell every person who asks me where he or she should go for air to go to Bag Riders. I recently started doing installs for locals and when I had trouble finding an issue I was having with an elevel kit (was installed and uninstalled), John was there helping me out more than Accuair ever did. He even sent me loaner parts to troubleshoot and rule out certain items that weren’t working. Keep in mind this was on his own time.

I have purchased my own kit from Bag Riders, my little brothers kit from Bag Riders (airlift struts, autopilot v2, rotiform wheels), along with a good 5-6 other people I know personally. Never once have they disappointed. Their customer service is TOP notch and other companies should honestly take a page from their book on how service should be conducted.

The rest of the Bag Rider crew is great also, I haven’t dealt with many others besides Kevin and John but I have met most of them and they are an awesome group of dudes.

Besides the great deals they always run online, their customer service and knowledge of air is just stellar. Another thing that I admired so much is that they are car enthusiasts first, not a vendor, and never once have any of them ever tried to push a sale on me or force me to buy something. It’s like having a buddy who sells stuff and if you ever needed anything they are there for you to pick up what you need.

I could go on forever but just top notch A+ stuff from the Bag Rider crew.

Thank you for all of the kind words, Joe! It's been great chatting with you and getting to know you over the last few years, from car stuff to computer stuff- always great conversation! I have to say thanks for all of the help and advice you've given me with random stuff on my WRX, I'm sure I'll have some questions when I finally get around to doing that GR steering wheel swap Your STi was awesome, your BRZ is awesome, and Nick's bug-eye is sick as well!

I've been bagged for about 9 months now, bought my kit through Bag Riders. I seriously must have spent about 2-3 hours on the phone with them on numerous occasions asking stupid stupid questions (hindsight and knowledge) and they politely answered each one while guiding me in the direction I wanted to go.

I've probably spent more with them than any other company anywhere else, but it's all worth it. They have good prices, they are extremely knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I'd consider John a friend and whenever I'm out there I definitely owe him a beer.

I've bought
Airlift V2 - 11 wrx
Accuair 5 Gallon tank
Accuair eXo Mounts
Viair 444c compressor
2 SMC water traps
SMC check valve
leader line
Specialty suspension seamless 5 gallon tank

There will surely be more in the future. Can't say enough good things about these guys!

Thank you Derrick! If you ever find yourself in Vermont, or likewise if I'm in Missouri we will definitely have to grab a beer! Your WRX looks awesome and following the engine build I am excited to see what kind of power you'll be making. Sounds like you have some plans for the exterior as well. I've been subscribed to your build thread for a while, it's a very enjoyable build to follow! Keep up the awesome work

I'd just like to say that John and everyone at Bad Riders have been awesome for me. I've been dealing with them for almost 2 years now and have never been disappointed. Phone calls, emails and PMs have always been easy and a pleasure. I've NEVER had a company take so much time and pride into serving their customers like Bag Riders have with me and because of this I recommend them to anyone looking into air ride for any vehicle. Their customer service is good enough alone to buy anything from them!

I've had multiple transactions with them and every time it's gone smooth as butter with absolutely crazy fast shipping with tracking info as well.

I look forward to continuing my relationship with them for the long haul and suggest others to do so as well (if you're smaht).

Thanks guys!!

Bag Riders has been helping me out since hmmm. I dont even remember. Back when the first four bagged subarus were John, Kevin, Ryan and myself. Both John and Kevin were very helpful when i was looking for management on my car and always willing to go the extra mile if i had any questions needed help, or just suggestions they had for my set up. Once i got my first set up good to go, it was pretty much a breeze ordering everything else because i knew what i was doing then, but still then if i had a question needed help, the bag riders guys were always there to assist me if i had a question about running this with that or that with this.

Customer service is always top notch. They make you feel like you've known them since you were a kid. Everyone who works there is awesome.

Can't thank the dudes at Bag Riders enough for everything they have done for me over the past few years. They are the go to place for all your air ride needs, and i do not plan on ordering from anywhere else.

Derek and Abbitt, thank you guys! The kind words are truly appreciated by myself and the rest of the crew here Your build is amazing Derek, you don't see many folks carrying their mods over to an entirely new shell! That's something you and I have in common Abbitt- everything you've built has always been incredible and I can't wait to see what's in store for your new STi!

I was recommended to bagriders from a friend who slammed his STi and let me just say it was the best recommendation I've ever received. John was super helpful through the entire process. When I decided to go with air suspension I was clueless, luckily John was able to answer all my questions and didn't seem to get frustrated with all my n00b questions. Superior customer service! Thank you John and all the guys at bagriders.... By far the best vendors I have EVER dealt with!

Thanks again
