Thumbs down My Experience with Millenium Autosales *not good* v2

Hello guys.

As you know Im going through some tough times. The path i took to fix my transmission and ensure it would not happen again so easily has been one bad turn after another. I did make some mistakes on my part i admit. But then there were a lot of unlucky things that happend as well.

This all started when i called Kevin from Garage tuning asking for a transmission. He reffered me to Frank from Millenium Autosales in Michigan.
I bought the transmission for a hefty 1240 (03 USDM WRX Transmission) and was assured by frank it was working properly.

Few days later i found a JDM Transmission and decided to buy that since i wanted something tough and i could still keep my rear diff. so i bought that

While the USDM Tranny was in transit to Kevin's Garage i called Y2k Autosales and asked if i returned the tranny once it reach CA. if i can get a refund. he replied "I rather not deal with that" and told me i can make all my money back from ebay.

So i posted the tranny forsale even before it got to me and after one month and dropping the price twice. i sold it to Angry Toaster (travis) of RS25.com. for 800.

One Week later I was informed by WRX Girl (the tranny was for her) that the transmission was no good. The problem is (confirmed by kevin from GT) that when the car is started up it made a weird noise maybe a pinging or something and would stop when the clutch was depressed. Kevin said along with a mechanic from aerosim that the tranny was going to give out soon.

I contacted Frank from Millenium and told him that the transmission was no good and was wondering what he cud do about it. He said he could do nothing. Main reasons being. its been 2 months. and he wouldnt know if the tranny was abused or what not. I assured him the tranny was sitting in my garage for the entire month it took me to sell it. i can show him threads and posts as proof. he then replied even if so he cud not tell what Toaster did with it the week he had it. I told Frank that the tranny was installed in Kevin's Garage and I knew frank knows Kevin.

After some more talking he decided to tell me stories of people sending back transmissions. and when he opend them good gears were replaced with bad gears.

After the first call, kevin tried to talk to frank but frank denied him as well. so i called one more time to ask if i were to send back the tranny can i at least just get the replacement transmission. Losing 400 was better than 800.

he denied me again saying he does not offer warranty on parts and who would? (i told him i knew tons of places that offer warranties on parts even after installation! he just said "well not me"

He then told me that he has sold tons of trannies. and never had a bad one. no one has complained. no one sent one back. (funny u were telling me stories on how people sent u bad trannies and rippd u off)

His last words to me were "I know your probably a good guy and i hate to screw you but no." - damn right you screwed me 1240 dollars. (i only make 400 a month)

I advise that no one purchase anything from millenium Autosales or Frank in Michigan. You buy there parts. you get no warranty. and you take a big gamble.

Spread the word and dont let anymore innocent, hard working people take a gamble on parts from this guy. If you wont trust me enough to take care of customers. how can we trust you that you will give us what we paid for.

Id like to appologize to Toaster and WRX girl (from RS25.com) and also like to thank Kevin from Garage Tuning. who tried to solve this problem as well calling Frank.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I've been to their shop 3 times and everytime I'm there they're always busy. You should just keep calling him. He works like 6 out of 7 days. I was there this pass Saturday and that place was jump'n like a weekday.

Default Millennium Auto

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. I bought a wingless decklid last week and after getting it home and cleaned up, I decided I wanted the WRX wing decklid. Thankfully they had one in stock but it had a scratch on the wing. Frank stopped what he was working on to wheel it out and make sure I was happy with it. He also welded an o2 bung on my downpipe while I waited. So in terms of their service, it's nothing short of great with Millennium.
With regards to their parts, they have anything you could ever imagine for our cars and their prices are very fair. I'm new to the STi world, but I've done plenty of business with F-body vendors and few could hold a candle to Millennium in all aspects. I'm waiting for them to get an STi Limited interior cleaned up and then probably the 5X100 hub conversion. Thanks guys!

To follow up on my previous post, I had expressed an interest in a Limited interior they had coming in. I saw the car it came in and it was a mess so my expectations were somewhat low for seeing the cleaned up interior. Much to my surprise, they had it looking good enough for me to pull the trigger. I told them I would be back in 1 week to pick it up and pay and Frank was cool with it.
So I go to pick it up (fully expecting them to simply help me load it into my car and be on my way) and less than 2 hours later, I left with the entire interior completely installed right down to the small screw covers on the door handles. They even modified the window switches for a factory looking install.
So if you're in the market for anything Subaru, these guys are the best. If you're waiting for them to sort through the hundreds of items they ship out each day to get you a tracking number, hang in there because they've probably already shipped or they're busy providing the best customer service I've ever seen. Thanks again Millennium Auto!

Just bought an 05 interior (F & R seats and carpet). Mixed emotions here. Millennium was great to deal with and had a fantastic price. But I was told everything was in great condition. When I received it, there was a small tear in the backseat, but it is not noticeable installed so I didn't mind. But the seats all have this mud splatter stain on them, that I now have to clean. The carpet was very worn out and had bits of glass in it that I cut my hand on, and the seatbelts for the front seats don't click together when you insert the belt (not sure if that is my fault cause I have an 07 and the seats are 05, but I didn't think the year had anything to do with seatbelt compatibility, although I could be wrong).

The 07 seat belts are non compatible with a 05 sti/wrx seats. As for the mud sorry about that if we would of noticed it we would have cleaned them more thourhly, but yoiu have to keep in mind when buying parts from us that they are coming out of wrecked vehicles and some times the window do break so that is where the glass came from. Sorry about that again we should have cleaned them a bit more. next time you order from you can mention the problem on the last order an you will recieve an extra 20% off your purchase...

Thanks

I've purchased a full interior from them off of eBay to put back in my car when I decdided to sell it and remove the STi stuff. Shipping was very fast, and came well packed on a skid. Frank had forgotten the door switches, but he responded to my email very quickly and had them out to me the next day.

Overall, I'm very happy with the parts and service I received!

Default Not happy

Bought an Item off their ebay auctions. Found out 10 min later that he is selling the item for less and including shipping here on Nasioc. A NASIOC member special? I thought it might be. So it emailed him to ask if he would consider dropping the price to the Nasioc price....I think it was only 30 bucks but gave it a shot anyway. Now the 30 bucks I could live with but his "hardass" comment in the email was undeserved.

It went something like ...."you pay what you pay and im not gonna do a thing about it. Respect my decision." This from a fellow suby "owner". Now I know a deal is a deal. But really.....was the 30 dollar question worth that ****ty reply.

I am still in need of quite a few parts which he happens to have but I will not give him my business. Nor would I consider him for anything else. That little retard reply made sure of that. He has a good business that may have good parts (I am yet to receive my order) but I doubt he has good customer service. His business on EBAY is terrible (one comment accuses him of fraud). even the good comments have sub-comments that are unhappy with Frank....not the parts. You need to get you act together.

I will leave feedback again as soon as I see what the condition of his "excellent" parts are in.

First of all, real professional to call someone a retard.

All I was saying was you bid what you felt you wanted to pay, just because we sell them for less on this form, doesn't mean you shouldn't pay that amount. I will quote the email I sent "

I hate to say it, but you bought this on eBay and you bid what you want to pay. So if this would have sold for $125 on eBay should I have emailed you and asked you to pay for the difference. Please respect my decision

Thanks
Frank"

The difference was $55 with the shipping. I believe that my decision was the right one. I have great customer service. All my customer have been happy with me, and if they haven't, I've made it right. It not my fault as a company to take less money for an item because the customer bid to much and then had buyers remorse. What if you won the item for $50. Should I have not sold you the part, and went on the forms and try to to say you where cheap. Come on!! I do business the right way and what's right is right.

Thanks
Frank

Default Hmm..

You really assume alot in your little essay. Buyers remorse on a $50 difference, or was it $55?? HAHA. OK. Whatever you feel is appropriate.
"I have great customer service" - I must have missed the good day you actually had that and am so very glad you tell yourself that. Keep it up. It just might work.

Listen pal. There are many more vendors out there that would agree and disagree with you. So I do not know why you feel you deserve a response to your little rant. Do you feel like you have been sorely misjudged?
Heres a for you. Go catch some zz's knowing you did "business the right way"...with another unsatisfied customer.

PM me if you need to discuss further. I left a review on "you as a company." I feel it to be accurate. People reading these posts will make up their own minds on doing business with you. I have left a few reviews on vendors here. All of them discussed with the particular vendor and sorted out. But with you, I feel, that is a useless endeavor since the problem lies with the customer.

That is all.

I have made several purchases with Frank in the past and they have been nothing short of "excellent".
His customer service skills, his attention to detail, his thoroughness to get the job done, the right way, have been top notch! If only I could find more vendors like this closer to home....
He has surpassed expectations time and time again with every single purchase I have made from him. His shipping is prompt; he is not overpriced for the age of the items, and as mentioned, has great skills dealing with customers.
It takes great patience to sift through 250 emails a day and answer all of them. I don't have a complaint in that department as well. He has never failed to reply to mine.
He'll...He even makes a mean lunch!!!

saloonracer, dude...This is nothing new... The guy is giving people a break on Nasioc and you’re trying to crucify him because you paid more on EBay?
Perhaps you are the one at fault for not "searching" here first?
I purchase a good amount of tools on the web. I found a vendor on EBay that I thought had good pricing. He never advertised that he had a website but later I found out through dealing with him quite a bit, that he did and his website pricing was cheaper than the eBay pricing. **** happens....Now I buy through the website.

Millennium Auto rocks...Great guys....Great place... Great prices.

frank and the crew at millenium auto kicks some serious ass.
bought quite a few items from him and was very pleased with the results.
this thread just goes to show what great members we have here on nasioc.
i told you what site to use frank..............
not much can be done to save a lost soul, sometimes all you can do is explain yourself, and let the customer decide.
meh, this guy is like a rain drop in the ocean.
