I figured this may get more exposure here than in the Car FS forum, and frankly, unless i have to, i would rather not deal with shipping.

EDIT: I should mention, in the craigslist ad, it says that it needs a new charcoal canister. I decided to crawl under the car today and check it out. One of the wires is frayed, which is what is causing the CEL to be on. Cheap fix, which i will do.

do you have the original wheels? would you consider lowering the price without some of the mods? like exhaust... and is this the lowest price you will be willing to go considering the T belt has to be done, and the CEL is on. Let me know either PM me or email me at melkii2003@yahoo.com thanks alot - Alex

Thats the reason it's currenly priced at what it is. What you see is what you get, i dont plan on taking anything off of it. I'm done with the car, i have no desire to pull things off and try to sell those later on.

well I'm interested in the car... but i would like to know a few things like: Is the title clean? has it been in any accidents? other than the mechanical problems you stated are there any other? have there been any other mechanical problems? if so what? how is the rust? under the body as well as the body itself? I had a bugeye wrx that got stolen in Montreal about 3 or 4 weeks ago... so I'm still waiting for insurance to pay me back...

If you were to change your mind I would be interested in the lip, spats, wing, fog covers and catback.

It would take about 10 mins to remove everything.

A woman backed into the driver fender a couple years back, it was replaced on her dime. The title is clean, it currently resides with the bank though, I do not own the car.The underbody is clean, anyone that would like to see the car, i'll put it up on stands if you want to look.

Valve cover gaskets are about 35 bucks, its the labor on that one. Last i checked, a timing belt was ~100$ and i have no idea what's involved in that. If you did it your self, probably 250 bucks in parts.

Nope, sorry. At this point, i want the least amount of stuff to deal with, so the car is going to go as is.

I'd be interested but I hear you're a dishonest seller attempting to hide massive rust.

Of course I'm not serious, bump for a great price on a rare car.

Well, you have potential to make more money parting things out. Oh well.
