Default EDM headlight grounding HELP?!

so i junked the ebay lights and got some EDMs for my bugeye. the previous owner hacked one harness off the right headlight to get the ebay ones.. i rewired it with no problem. on the left headlight i was able to use the harness adapter the headlights came with. bot bulbs have burned out in the left side. i redid the wiring to the harness adapter, and put in new bulbs. still no left low beam and the right high beam is incredibly dim. can i just take the grounds and screw them to the cars frame? otherwise i guess i could hack off the harness like was done on the right by previous owner. thanks

Sure, you could ground them to the chassis, but then the lights will stay on when the car is turned off due to our cars having a switched ground.

Try it, if it works cool. If you don't like it, try something else.

I used relays for my EDMs and grounded directly to the chassis. Works like a charm! Check out http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=694380 for instructions.
