Default Time Attack 2007 The RCM Gobstopper.

Time Attack is a competion for tuning companies, this year RCM have entered the Gobstopper, today has been a practice day, with tomorrow being a points scoring day, these races take place over the year at different race tracks, last years winner being the type 25 from the Litchfield/powerstation stable.
After todays practice session the RCM Gobstopper is 2 seconds in front and has been lapping 4 seconds faster than last years winner.
Here are a few pics from friday night getting things ready I'll get more up for you all from the race track tomorrow showing some of the action.

The truck looking pristine.

The 3 ton tail lift makes a good viewing platform.

Nice clean workshop.

New set of toyo R888s,Olly is also trying pirelli corsa tyres aswell.

I think we might need this tomorrow.

Motec digital lap timer,as Olly passes the pit lane garage a sensor is triggered giving him an instant read out on the motec digital dash.
The Gobstopper has had a new nitrous system, reworked heads, different turbo, and revised suspension for this year, enjoy, more pics tomorrow.

I would like to ask a question about crankcase venting.....how do you vent the pressure from inside the block? Does it go to atmosphere?
