Have a Nice Day? Dash Lights Not Working, Looking for Help

Just bought an 06 WRX in January and a couple days ago the dash lights stopped working. The clock and radio and everything works fine but when I turn my headlights on, my dash lights don't come on. Sometimes they flick on for a second as I'm turning on/off my headlights, but they won't stay on. The car is completely stock and only has 4,000 miles it. Can anyone help out this noob?

Check all the fuses, there should a white fuse puller under the cover of the fuse box in the engine bay that makes the job easier. Check all the fuses in the box behind the coin holder. Does anything happen when messing with the light dimmer? If the fuses are good its time to head back to the dealer.

The problem sounds like it may be in the light switch. If you can't find the trouble yourself or need a new part you do have a nice warranty to fall back on to have this fixed.

It's under warranty- just take it to the dealership.

Thanks for you guys' help. Turns out I just unknowningly rolled the dash light dimmer thing. Sorry for wasting yalls time. I am an idiot and will leave this forum up for a couple days so people won't start thinking the 06's have this problem. And to get bashed, I'm sure.

A simple oversite. Don't worry about the brain lapse. It happens to all of us one way or another. Glad you got it figured out. Thanks for the feedback and enjoy the new ride.

Members can't delete threads. I thought I had locked this already but my post and the lock were probably lost in the recent server crash.
