Hey man. I've been reading the posts. That really sucks that this idiot is doing that.

My advice. Be a role model. Dont get revenge. Do the right thing and let the cops handle it. You put yourself to the same low level if you seek revenge.

Regardless, there could be greater problems if you decide to mess with this jerk. This day and age to many people have guns and kill. A car is just a piece of metal and is not worth anything happening to your life(or your parents). I know its something you work hard for, but dont let it control your life.
Think clearly and do the right thing

Be thankful you got that car. There are starving kids on the world that have nothing and die from starvation. You are really lucky the "only" bad thing in your life right now is this stupid idiot messing with your car.

Best Regards

Ok, I'm going to step out of my Moderator suit for a second to say something. [/Moderator]

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND STOP BITCHING!!

One way or the other it has to be ended, decide and get it over with. Talk to the cops for legal advice if you have to, just DO SOMETHING. For all you know, him bragging to others in school could be enough evidence to convict him of the vandalism charges in court.

EDIT: Sorry about the bluntness, I just hate seeing people being helplessly beaten around.

god damn 8complex you have almost 10000posts in only 16 months that means you post 625 times in a month or about 20 times in a day. good lord i am on i club 2-4 hours a day and i thought that was excesive but jesus man you are a fiend.

as the original post call the police. get a lawyer and sue the crap out of him. if you did that he would be worse off then you striping his car. his parents would give him hell and he would be given i believe either a misdamenor or a fellonie. not somethign you want on your personall record.

this is getting real serious... Video tape the guy.... This might turn into something real serious as well... Look out dude... I say... Video tape his crap.. Blow up his car, (but don't video tape it) and then take him to court... or do that whole mental bit that 8complex suggested in the other post...

My Legal Advice:

Get written statements from all the people that have heard him brag about it. Maybe even put one of those mini tape recorders in your pocket and confront him. Then try to get him to admit something incriminating on tape. Then go to the police with all your evidence.

My Illegal Advice:

Plant some illegal substances in his car(could even just be taped under bumper or wheel well if you can't get inside it). Then make an anonymous phone call to the police or your school security.

One thing is get a paintball gun. Crank it up a bit( oops..). Then get your ammo and harden them. I did my by heat cycling them in the back of my car in a nice hot New Mexico summer. Then when he is FKN with your stuff again shoot him several times with it, hopefully at close range. Then call the cops. He will have a hard time explaining why he has all that paint on him and his clothes if he wasn't FKN with our stuff.

This person means so much to you that you have to pay him back with more than what he owes? I'd just get the required evidence and tell the cops and a lawyer. At least you'd be getting revenge legally!

No wait, better yet! Get somebody you know, but he doesn't know you know(if that makes sence we're halfway there). Have that person confront him with a hidden tape recorder and coax him into bragging about the vandalism. If it works, you have all the evidence you need. Oh, and try to get him to talk about all four different incidents so that he can be charged on all acounts.

Your "friend" has some very serious problems, but the police and the courts are the way to go. Perhaps some enlightened judge will give you some (financial) relief and get the perp some much needed help.

This guy obviously has nothing better to do.
I'm just as surprised as everyone else that you haven't done anything about it yet either. I know you want to make the perfect comeback, but there is no such thing. There's drawbacks to everything. The safest and most logical way, is to do what most people here already said to do. Get your evidence from the people who heard him brag about it. Then go to the cops.

However if you're going to get back at him through that friend of a friend, I'd be a bit cautious. Seen too many 'stings' on tv You sure that's not a cop asking for $100 to get it towed and stripped? (too good to be true usually is just that) Or it could even be one of this guys friends, just waiting to lure you into the whole revenge scenario.

Either way I better tune into the local news and keep and eye and ear out for the Richmond Hill area report

I know right now you can't even see straight because you are so mad. However, what if you do something and he does something worse. Would he stop at nothing, and try to hurt you or your family? Scary thought.

well you wanna know what to do?? hmmm...???

simply get his licence plate # make model of the car... call from a payphone, and let the police know your car, his car really, got stolen its a 1998 yatta yatta. it was stolen a day ago. he will get pulled over and, harrarssed big time. that would be some payback or get him out and paint the curb red so he gets towed for parking in a red zone.
Brian
thats the best way.

Look....if I were in your shoes that bastard would've not been talking about it. But, I'm not one to condone violence...let someone else do the dirty work
First thing, explain to the local police your situation and depending on what they tell you, then take your action.
Get one of those mini cams to record the jerk, you can place it anywhere in the car and it's hardly noticeable.
If that doesn't work for you...have his car stripped. He won't have a clue you did it if he thinks you're a chump.
After what he's done...$100 is worth your while.
Good luck!

Normally, I'd be first up with all the nasty little ideas to screw this guy over- however, the problem here is, he knows where you live, you know where he lives. He's already shown he'll screw up your car, and your parents car.

So whatever you do to him HAS to be enough to make him stop, and not just retaliate. Afterall, would your revenge be worth getting even MORE damage to your car?

In that case, I'd say try your best to go through the cops- it's either that, or you've got to scare him *****less enough so that he'll stop on his own. My guess is doing stuff to his car or his property isn't going to get the guy to stop-

One of the favorites on my SAAB mailing list: get a valve stem core remover and pull the cores from all 4 tires. He won't even be able to air them back up!! Then again, you should still go to the police...
