Default Where to get intake hoses?

I got a short ram intake, thanks to Titanium Samurai, but I need to get extensions for the vacuum hoses.

I pulled of the short stock tube and went to Lordco earlier today. Buddy there said vacuum hoses are usually like pencil thin, and wasn’t sure what would work. Seems the inside diameter of hose I need is about 13/32" (.406", 10.3mm).

Issue I noticed is the stock hose is wider (about 1/2"), and the hose the intake should use is the size above. So I shouldn’t use the same hose as there will be a leak, right? I figure I should use a 13/32" extension into the 1/2" tube seems like a good idea.

Any suggestions on where to buy such hose, and if my idea has any problems? I think Lordco has the stuff, but the guy seemed to know what he was doing. He thought it was 'emissions hose'....

Thanks

when I installed a jc sports short ram intake, I bought 'heat' hoses from lordco.

when I asked for vacuum hoses, he said he doesn't have any thing that'll fit the intake, but the heat hoses would work. the hoses were fairly inexpensive too. I also used brass couplers + hose clamps to attatch the vacuum hoses to the intake.

here's my install:

hope that helps you.
